MAAE Video Contest

Open to videographers of all ages! The Missouri Alliance for Arts Education is seeking powerful video messages which underscore the importance of arts education. Open to adults and students, MAAE is looking for current or future filmmakers, media moguls or roving TV reporters to enter a video contest highlighting the importance of arts education in Missouri schools.

The MAAE is dedicated to showing why it is important to have fine arts instruction in every school, for every child, every day. We draw attention to the creative skills the arts develop in people of all ages and backgrounds. Now students can join in the Alliance's advocacy mission and display, through video, why the arts are a vital part of education at every level.

Now accepting video contest entries!
Video submissions received  before
January 31 are eligible for awards issued in March.

Those received after Feb. 1 will be eligible for consideration the following year.

The winner(s) will receive a $50 prize and be acknowledged at Fine Arts Education Day at the State Capitol on April 9, 2025. If a student is a winner, an additional prize of $100, will be awarded to the teacher of a winning student entry.
