Presented by Cayla Barnes, Julia Coggins, and Kristen Burkemper.
Discover how to transform your school's approach to learning through arts integration! In this session, we'll explore how incorporating the arts (visual, performance, and STEAM) across all subjects not only enhances student engagement but also boosts academic achievement, creativity, and social-emotional learning. Participants will gain actionable strategies for creating a school-wide culture that fosters artistic expression while meeting instructional goals.
The Missouri Arts Integration Network connects educators: any subject, any discipline, any level with an interest in ARTS INTEGRATION through FREE, one-hour events via ZOOM.
From PreK through collegiate, get inspired as you meet with other educators and hear success stories from practitioners across the state.
The Inclusion, Diversity, Equity in the Arts sessions help teachers gain knowledge and reflect on their educational practice through a lens of accessibility.
FAME Network will be on hiatus through the 2024-25 to engage in reflection and planning for 2025-26. Open to all, but originally geared toward arts educators who take on leadership roles in their setting to offer collegial support, discuss and share resources and strategies for local arts education advocacy. Many of our previous sessions have included opportunities to network with arts education leaders from Missouri's arts institutions such as Opera Theatre of St. Louis, Kansas City Ballet, St. Louis Symphony Orchestra, Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, and others.
