Professional Learning

Make it a goal in this new year to grow your experience by joining our professional learning webinars! This is the perfect time for you to reflect on your teaching practices, as you gather in an online learning community. We offer free, live streaming, and collaborative Professional Development workshops each month through our IDEA and MAIN professional learning networks.  You can earn a PD certificate, as well as Graduate Credit through Lindenwood University for attending our workshops!

MAAE wishes to make programming accessible to all. In-person events are held in ADA compliant facilities allowing those with mobility issues to participate. Please contact director@moaae.org if you have any additional requests to accommodate visual, hearing or other accessibility issues.

FAME Network will be on hiatus through the 2024-25 to engage in reflection and planning for 2025-26. Open to all, but originally geared toward arts educators who take on leadership roles in their setting to offer collegial support, discuss and share resources and strategies for local arts education advocacy. Many of our previous sessions have included opportunities to network with arts education leaders from Missouri's arts institutions such as Opera Theatre of St. Louis, Kansas City Ballet, St. Louis Symphony Orchestra, Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, and others.
