What is an Ally?

The Missouri Alliance for Arts Education uses the word “Ally” - to describe relationships with others who share our common values in support of arts education.  Together, our voices become stronger. Join the Alliance today!

You can become an ally as an individual, or on behalf of a business or organization. Although we welcome contributions, there are no dues or fees required to be an ally. Simply complete the form and choose your level of involvement.

Allies are listed on MAAE's website and stay informed.

BENEFITS:

Receive news updates, Allies may submit information for dissemination using MAAE media channels. MAAE supports and promotes the work of allies, facilitating communication with and among allies.

Active Allies become involved in MAAE programs, initiatives, committees, or task force teams. 

BENEFITS: 

Ally level benefits plus deeper 

Engagement with MAAE work.


Associate Allies serve as a representative voice and hold an ex-officio (non-voting) seat on the MAAE Board of Directors. 

BENEFITS:

Active Ally level benefits plus allowing an organization a seat at the table in discussing issues related to policy and programming. 

Although not required, a memorandum of understanding specifying each party’s responsibilities and benefits may be drafted if desired.

Principal Allies enjoy a formal agreement and hold a voting seat on the MAAE Board of Directors. 

BENEFITS:

Associate Ally level benefits plus an active role in the governance of the Alliance.
