This annual event sponsored by the Missouri Alliance for Arts Education (MAAE), in partnership with our principal allies and the Missouri Music Educators Association (MMEA), helps bring student art, student performances and student voices to Missouri's capitol informing legislators of the value of arts education. Be a part of the Fine Arts Education Day celebration in person or by video submission! We'd love to welcome you!

Showcase your students and arrange visits with your legislator and share you group performances at the Capitol and Governor's Garden (weather permitting) -
Virtually
Highlight student work in the arts in your area! Videos reflecting all arts disciplines welcome! Videos can show process, rehearsals, or a finished product.
Fine Arts Education Day PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES
There are limited performance opportunities for in-person performances in the rotunda 12:00 - 1:00 pm only, and (weather permitting) on the South Steps and in the Governor's Garden between 9am-3pm on April 9, 2025.

Video Guidelines 2025
if you would like to have your individual student, ensemble, or performing group included virtually in Fine Arts Education Day at the State Capitol in Jefferson City, Missouri, complete and submit virtual application and send video to email address below.
Individual student or small ensemble less than 5 minutes in length
Large ensemble performing groups 5 to 10 minutes in length
Display (formerly static displays) lighting designs, costume design, set design, etc. 5 min. max
Teacher/Learning Activities (video or still photos) 3 min. max
Videos should be submitted in mp4 format. All videos should include a banner at the bottom with details on the performance (work performed, performers, school, date of recording, etc).
