TUESDAY - April 7 - Capitol Concert Celebrating the work of arts educators who work in private studios with student piano performances in the Capitol rotunda.
WEDNESDAY - April 8 - Show Me Arts Summit Student Civics Learning experiences engaging student voices in support of arts education in Missouri. Learn more.
THURSDAY - April 9 - Fine Arts Education Day Celebrating the value of arts education and student artists through exhibitions, performances, demonstrations and awards. Learn more.
FRIDAY - April 10 - Dulcimer Workshop for Missouri School Teachers Hands-on workshop helping music educators to incorporate dulcimer into their instructional practice.10:30-3pm.

MAAE's research indicates that there is a need and a desire to connect arts educators, non-profits, arts makers and other local organizations and businesses for increasing access to resources and professional learning opportunities.
MAAE will work with local partners to plan and implement regional networking events across the state.

TAB workshop Success!
More than 40 educators joined presenters Kari Shepker-Mueller, Abby Birhanu, and Elizabeth Williams for a two-day learning experience exploring on June 4-5 "Teaching for Artstic Behavor (TAB) pedagogy and choice-based teaching. Participants gained practical tools, connected with resources and a supportive community dedicated to helping empower artists to reach their individual potential.

Seeking School Partners for customized on-site professional learning in arts integration, through MAAE’s Arts Centered Education (ACE) Program at no cost to the school. ACE teaching artists work with teachers in any subject and at any grade level; either the whole school or a smaller cadre of educators. Help us leverage the arts toward students success and get connected to schools near you!

The Senate exhibit is housed on the lowest level of the Capitol Building in Jefferson City in the corridor for the Senate Parking garage.
