Fine Arts Education Day highlights the importance of fine arts education in Missouri schools. 
The Missouri State Capitol building and grounds comes alive with: 
- vocal and instrumental ensemble performances
- dance and acrobatic groups
- theatrical presentations 
- fine art exhibits
The event helps underscore the value of the arts and arts education for students across Missouri.

The arts help students gain the skills they need to prepare for a successful future.
Fine Arts Education Day Performance Opportunities - Celebrate 250
(Optional: Please consider programming a piece in response to the Celebrate 250 theme)
There are limited performance opportunities for performances in the Capitol Rotunda. Noon - 1:00 pm only
 Additional performances will be scheduled  (weather permitting) on the South Steps and Governors Garden.
      1:00 - 3:00 pm       (Alternate space is being secured in case of inclement weather)

Deadline:  February 15, 2026
SUBMIT YOUR VIDEOS of the following:
Individual student or small ensemble less than 5 minutes in length
Large ensemble performing groups 5 to 8 minutes in length
Display (formerly static displays) lighting designs, costume design, set design, etc. 3 min. max
Teacher/Learning Activities (video or still photos) 3 min. max
Videos should be submitted in mp4 format. All videos should include a banner at the bottom with details on the performance (work performed, performers, school, date of recording, etc). If you do not have the technical skills required to do this it can be added after submission.
