Senate Student Fine Arts Exhibit
and Youth Art Month

Deadline: January 16, 2026

Displayed throughout the year at the Missouri Capitol to raise visibility and encourage legislator support for the arts and arts education. 

• Not just visual art, open for entry across all fine arts disciplines

• Winners selected by Missouri senators

• One winner per district

• Submission by K-12 Missouri fine arts teachers

• No travel or shipping, submit online (photos only)

• Student winners and their teacher honored at the state capitol during Fine Arts Education Week

Deadline: February 1, 2026
2026 Theme is: The World Needs Art

• This program celebrates K-12 art education with a month-long public exhibit in the Missouri State Capitol.  All MAEA members are eligible to submit up to (4) student entries of their choosing by February 1st, for display from mid-March - April. 

• Make plans to attend the Awards and Recognition Ceremony at the Missouri State Capitol at the First Floor Rotunda during Missouri Fine Arts Day! APRIL 9th, 2026!

• The ceremony begins at 1:15 pm

• *Can't attend the ceremony?  We'll miss you, but ceremony attendance is not required to participate in the exhibit!
